Greater New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a church that has been established for over 96 years in the city of Sanford, Florida in the historic Goldsboro Community. GNMZ is a body of believers that believe in empowering God’s people to attain the next level of spiritual growth.

The vision is To Build a Family of Devoted followers of Christ that Worship God, share Christ’s hope, and love for one another and minister to the needs of each other. The mission is to admonish and guide unbelievers into believers with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and to encourage Believers into Disciples.

We believe in the trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. It is our belief that faith is understanding the scriptures along with the conviction that God’s Word is the final authority for ministry and life. We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
