 Pastor Alec Hayes Jr. was born in Sanford, FL. He accepted Christ into his life in the early 90s. He received his calling into ministry in 1995 and was licensed under the leadership of the Late Rev. James Lynn (Greater New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church). As a little boy, he was reared in Greater New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and now has the greatest opportunity to Pastor family, friends, and community associates which is an honor to him. He believes ministry should be about the up-building of the kingdom and saving of souls that would be life changing to everyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ; for in Romans 10:8-10 states, “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” 

In 1998 in Holy Matrimony, he married Latietia Hayes and is the father of two extraordinary boys (Jeremiah and Jordan). He is a graduate of Seminole High School and continued his education at Seminole Community College. 

His goal for the ministry is to see the manifestation of God’s spiritual work through the lives of his people. “Greater works than these shall he do” John 14:12
